The Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) strongly supports the Pipeline Safety Act: Bill C-46 that went into force on June 18th. CEPA believes the establishment of the ‘polluter pays’ principle into Canadian law is an important and positive step to instill further public confidence in the transmission pipeline industry.
